Honoured to be mentioned in the latest issue of Sweet Paul Magazine. Sweet Paul's market editor Will Taylor  (who also is founder of one of the most colourful blogs on the planet Bright Bazaar) gives his colourful perspective on shopping, dining and sleeping in Amsterdam. Here is what he says about my store:

"A case in point was discovering the newly opened Mariska Meijers Amsterdam - they recently opened their premier location on the Singel Canal.
Located just between Jordaan's 9 Straatjes (9 streets) and the Bloemenmarkt (Flowermarket), the creative aesthetic of artist - designer Mariska Meijers is a perfect fit for the area as it matches the eclectic attitude of the 9 Streets and the colourful floral theme of the market. Be sure to stop by Mariska's original designs across a mix of homeaccessories and furniture, all complimented by an ever evolving collection of art, antiques and vintage furniture."

No need to say that Will and Paul made me very happy :). Thank you, thank you!! And for those of you not familiar with Sweet Paul Magazine and its founder : Paul is an amazing food and prop stylist who moved from Oslo to New York to live, love and create. The magazine is his baby and a must read for all of you who love to live the good life (and don't want to munch on salad leaves everyday :)).  Enjoy the ride uhhh I mean read. P.S. I am seriously missing Amsterdam already. Really. I think it got under my skin and into my heart in a serious way. I wish I can come back.

  2. It was my pleasure to include your beautifully curated store, Mariska! Hope we can hang out again soon. Hugs xx
